Date: November 29th These days, everyone knows Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as wrestling's top "power couple" in and out of the ring. Back in 1999, though, they were setting the stage for one of the biggest "life imitates art" scenarios in the history of wrestling. In the storylines, Stephanie was dating Test and was set to marry him. The idea was then created to have Triple H break the wedding up and for Trips and Steph to start their own kayfabe relationship. They traveled together and did everything together that real couples in wrestling did. During that time, they began to develop genuine feelings for one another and the rest was history. Breaking up the wedding between Steph and Test was a dastardly heel tactic and it put an already over Triple H on the map as a permanent top-tier player. It showed the wrestling world a different side of Steph, as she wasn't the cute, innocent McMahon daughter anymore even though it would be a few weeks after the marriage until we got to see her heel turn.
