Dustin Runnels is the only man to appear on this list twice, under the guise of 2 distinctly different characters. One of his more famous incarnations will be explored later, but first comes the idea of 'Se7en' (pronounced 'Seven') in World Championship Wrestling. Leaving the WWF in 1999, Runnels returned to WCW and created an entirely new persona. Clips were shown in the lead-up to the man's debut. These creepy vignettes had Runnels, as 'Se7en', standing outside a child's bedroom window in nightmarish fashion. Quickly, WCW cancelled these videos, over fears that people may view the character as someone who abducts kids. Making things even more auspicious, Se7en literally floated to the ring during his first appearance on Monday Nitro. From there, Runnels tore the gimmick to pieces, saying he was sick of playing stupid characters. The faux-reality ordeal made little sense, and the character was dead in the water almost immediately. It's perplexing to think what WCW's creative team were hoping to achieve with the gimmick, and why they even introduced it in the first place.
