10 Most Needlessly Elaborate WWE Finishing Moves Ever

3. The Cobra (Santino Marella)

If you're going to borrow, borrow from the best. That must have been Santino Marella's opinion when he decided to introduce the Cobra as a key part of his arsenal. The comedic character would (much like Foley) pull out a sock from his tights. This time, it was designed to look like a snake, only one with a silly expression.

That wasn't all; Santino would also hit his own arm in several places to ready the Cobra for victims. Afterwards, he'd wear his own silly expression and charge forward, thrusting his hand into the face or throat of opponents. Those wrestlers sold the Cobra like they'd been shot by a powerful rifle.

Credit where credit is due: Marella managed to get this stupidity over. A simple throat thrust would have done the trick too, though - there was no need for him to wear a sock over his arm or chase others around like he was Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.
