10 Most Notorious Big Show Urban Legends

4. Was Addicted To Fast Food

Story: As aforementioned, Big Show gained a lot of weight during his first few years in WWF/WWE, and was a pretty different looking dude by 2001 to the monster who wrestled for WCW just a few years previously. Around this time, a lot of stories started popping up online about fans who would meet the man in their local fast food chain after shows, mainly McDonalds. From there, the plot thickened, and led many to believe that Big Show was pretty damn addicted to Big Macs, cheeseburgers and French fries. It wasn't uncommon for fans to see the guy stuffing his giant face with the food, eating far more than the average person requires. Why People Believe It: All the evidence is there to suggest that Show had a hankering for fast food. Gaining weight at an alarming rate, the man started to balloon somewhat. Worse yet, WWE started to write the idea into storylines. During one backstage segment, Show was shown sleeping on a couch, uttering things like 'cheeseburgers, mmm' as he drifted off. Should We Believe It: 'Addicted' may be too strong a word, but it's something Show himself has talked about, the fact he really enjoys fast food. If company officials had warned him about his weight, it's likely Show was unhappy and started comfort eating, which is probably why so many fans saw him chowing down on vast quantities of grub.
