10 Most Notorious Big Show Urban Legends

3. Kurt Angle Once Took Him Down In 30 Seconds

Story: Born out of friendly competition, Kurt Angle had run ins with many of his fellow WWE employees. Amongst these names were the likes of Brock Lesnar and even Vince McMahon. Remarkably, that scrap with the boss took place on a plane, whilst it was in the air! Likely looking to prove he was as tough as his reputation suggested, Angle would end up having a tussle with The Big Show backstage. Playing around, Show claimed he could simply put one of his giant hands on the Olympian's head, stopping him from doing anything, but he would live to eat those words. Apparently, Kurt Angle swept Big Show off his feet, grounding him in a little over 30 seconds, and making him eat humble pie in the process. It's unclear whether or not there was any genuine heat between both men, it seems to have simply been a friendly wager. Why People Believe It: Let's face it, this is exactly the kind of thing fans have come to expect hearing about Kurt Angle. The guy is legitimately tough, there can be no doubts about that, and it seems plausible that he'd enjoy taking the gigantic Big Show down a peg with his grappling skills. Should We Believe It: Yes, there's every chance that this happened. Even though The Big Show is massive, and if he got his hands on anyone there would likely be no escape, Angle isn't exactly a small guy, and it's not unthinkable to imagine him wrestling rings around Show, taking him off his feet.
