Story: During Edge's tenure teaming with Hulk Hogan in 2002, the promotion focused much of the story on the young Canadian's love of Hulkamania as a youngster. It was told that a young Adam Copeland had been in attendance for Hogan's battle with The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI, taking in the action along with 60,000+ at the Toronto SkyDome. In addition to that, Copeland was instructed to act like Hogan's biggest fan, like a young man who had finally achieved his dream of working alongside his hero. The theory behind this was that Hulk would look relevant again by teaming with a hot young star, and fans could live vicariously though Edge, who was teaming with their childhood hero too. Why People Believe It: The entire thing would have been believable even if footage didn't exist of Edge actually at the event, smiling away and proudly wearing his Hulk vest. Copeland is Canadian, and as a self-confessed huge fan of wrestling growing up, there's absolutely no way he would have wanted to miss 'Mania VI. It wasn't called 'The Ultimate Challenge' for nothing, this was a huge event. Should We Believe It: 100%. There is footage to back up the fact that Adam Copeland was in attendance at WrestleMania VI, and the man himself has repeatedly made mention of it during talking head appearances for WWF/WWE.
