The Legend: That Goldberg hates current heir to the WWE throne, Triple H. The Evidence: There's no shortage of malicious quotes from either party here. Goldberg and Triple H have had a feud dating back to the late 90s. There was an incident at an airport where the two men got into an argument which culminated in Goldberg challenging him to a fight right then and there and Triple H calling airport security. The two have been trading shots ever since then. Things didn't get better when Goldberg came to the WWE in 2003 and feuded with Triple H. Many people believed that Goldberg should have won the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam that year but, after running through all of the other entrants, he was quickly beaten by Triple H. Triple H referred to this animosity during a 2003 interview with WWE.com:
It's not an issue we have to settle. We don't have to be best friends, we've just got to exist at work. I don't have to go to Bill Goldberg's house and have a meal with him. I don't have to go hang out with him. I don't have to go shoot pool with him. I don't have to do anything with Bill Goldberg other than do business. And he doesn't have to do anything with me.
Things only get worse after Goldberg had left the company. Triple H was again the instigator. Here is a quote form an interview he did with WrestlingMedia on December 2nd, 2010:
When he came to the WWE in 2003, I found it to be a complete joke, and I was absolutely shocked when WWE asked me to participate in a feud with him. So many things ran through my mind, how he was going to handle me in the ring, if I was going to get injured, buyrates dropping, etc, etc. That feud had to be one of the worst of my career, I was in my prime and on top of the wrestling world, and here comes this complete, washed up idiot, tarnishing my credibility. To be honest, I'm glad he's gone from wrestling, who knows who he was going to injure next.
Goldberg responded by calling Triple H a 'f***ing idiot' on Twitter and saying that he would hear from his attorneys. Is It True: Oh yeah. These guys didn't get along in the past and they clearly still don't care for each other now. If Goldberg is to return to WWE TV, don't expect him to have any interaction with The Game.
