The Legend: That Kevin Nash claimed 'wrestling died' when Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero won the WWE's World Titles in 2004. Why People Believe It: Because he said it! During an in-depth Grantland.com piece, Nash said the following:

It's a pretty bold opinion, to be sure and, while business was on the downturn at that time, it cannot all be attributed to Benoit and Guerrero as champions, since there were major issues with the all-around product.
