It’s no secret that if you enter the Royal Rumble late, you have a much better chance of winning than if you join the fray in the early goings. 14 winners have come from one of the last five slots, while only seven men have triumphed from the first five entries.

Of those who have drawn one of those coveted final five spots, three men have pulled those numbers at least five times, with Randy Orton entering the Rumble in one of those slots six times (2006, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2019 and 2022). However, the two times Orton won the Rumble, he entered earlier (at #8 in 2009 and #23 in 2017) - so those repeated late entries have not translated into to success for the Apex Predator.

The next closest wrestlers on this list are Big Show and Kane, with five late entries each, and then Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio and The Miz, each with three appearances at #26-#30.
