Wrestlers really liked fighting in hotels.

This was before either Shamrock or The Nasty Boys had made it big time. They were working for a promotion called South Atlantic Pro Wrestling. Problems began when one of the Nasties kept sexually harassing a young lady in Shamrock's party. Shamrock confronted the Nasty Boys until bouncers intervened.

Not content to leave it there, because Shamrock’s Shamrock, he pursued them to their hotel and began beating on doors till he found out where The Nasty Boys were staying. Shamrock burst into the room, and after a brief tussle with Saggs, was blindsided by Knobbs. Shamrock claims Knobbs attacked him from behind with a steel phone, after which they both began to stomp a mudhole and walk it dry on the future UFC legend.

The consequences of the assault were horrific for Shamrock. He suffered: a broken sternum, broken eye socket and a concussion. Even more terrifying, Shamrock claims to have actually died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and that it took him almost a year to recover from his injuries.

Shamrock has since confronted The Nasty Boys only to be told by them that if he hit them they will sue. Shamrock, realising the type of men he was dealing with, lost the taste for revenge and walked away. Stay classy Nasty Boys.
