To give you some idea of just how much The Great Khali was over-pushed, he basically held the highest honour in professional wrestling - by winning the World Heavyweight Championship in July 2007 - without ever mastering more than three moves.

To be fair, his open-palm chop to the cranium was pretty devastating at times, but it was hard to warm to him as SmackDown's leading man when his matches were so painfully lethargic (even when he was paired with Rey Mysterio, which is an achievement unto itself).

The fact that Khali, soon after ending his first and only run with the big gold belt, found himself in a (probably more suitable) role as a tutu-wearing source of comic relief should also, perhaps, be taken as an admission from WWE that they got this one badly wrong.
