JBL is a great commentator and (so we're told) an even better businessman. He's even a serviceable wrestler in the right contexts - and if you ever need someone to put a cocky upstart back in line with a few stiff blows, he's your guy.

But he's probably not the sort of you guy on whose shoulder you place your promotion's biggest prize for the better part of a year, especially on a roster that included the likes of Eddie Guerrero (from whom he won it), The Undertaker and John Cena (albeit John Cena when he was still in the womb).
