10 Most Over-The-Top Finishing Moves In WWE History

7. Starship Pain

It was a genuine loss to the WWE roster when John Morrison (owner of the best trousers in the business) headed off to the indie and Z-movie circuit in 2011. His athletic in-ring style coupled with his physique, promo ability and general likability is something severely lacking in today's landscape.

And not only was his move arsenal varied and hard-hitting, he knew his way around a top rope or two, as well.

What it actually is: A snazzy splash. What is looks like: Without even standing on the top rope, John manages to moonsault off it using the power of his godlike calf muscles alone. See if you can backflip off a turnbuckle using the back of your legs, bet you a fiver you can't. This isn't all, though. In mid-flight John corkscrews his body wildly like an out of control javelin and lands chest first on his opponent. The downward force from the obvious lack of height might not cause too much damage to the opponent, but they're probably so stunned from the spinning flesh they can't move. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPdGTlDwiZk
