It's a shame that Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags are sometimes left out of the discussion when wrestling fans talk about WCW's best tag-teams. After all, the team collectively know as The Nasty Boys worked extensively for the company, and even held the WCW Tag-Team Titles on no less than 3 separate occasions.

Their first reign came in 1993, but it's the period between 1994-1995 that is remembered most fondly. During that time, The Nasty Boys had wild brawls against the likes of Harlem Heat, as well as both Cactus Jack and Maxx Payne. This would later lead to a run in the Hardcore division for Knobbs, but his matches started to become more cartoon-like when compared to the previously hard-hitting style he favoured with Sags.

Knobbs and Sags also found success in the WWF, but they actually worked in WCW far longer than for Vince McMahon. A 3-year period in 'New York' - whilst notable - didn't glean the same kind of reactions for The Nasty Boys. In WCW, they looked at home on the roster and were able to brawl a lot more than the WWF allowed. Fans simply loved to hate them.
