There isn't a team in World Championship Wrestling history with a greater trophy haul than Harlem Heat. Holding the WCW Tag-Team Titles no less than 10 different times, Booker T and Stevie Ray must be considered one of WCW's best ever teams. Chemistry was built into the fabric of the tandem, given that both men were real life brothers.

Originally, Booker was known as 'Kole' and Ray was dubbed 'Kane'. The initial idea for the duo was decidedly racist, Harlem Heat were supposed to be led to the ring in chains by their white owner, Col. Robert Parker. That plan was thankfully shelved, which allowed Booker and Stevie Ray to simply concentrate on shining as a hard-hitting team. Things really started picking up for them once Sister Sherri was installed as their manager in 1994.

Existing as a duo right up until 1999, there were some temporary splits along the way. For example, Ray joined the nWo, whereas Booker stayed on the WCW side of the fence. One final tag title run in late-'99 followed, before the siblings walked their own paths for good. Whether heel or babyface, Harlem Heat always provoked a response from crowds.
