2. Yokozuna

Royal Rumble winner, two time WWF Champion, two time Tag Team Champion, and a loyal subject of Japan, Yokozuna was a formidable patriot.

Making a huge impact in 1993 when he went to the main event at WrestleMania IX and defeated Bret Hart for the title, Yokozuna was the seemingly unstoppable force who came from a foreign land. Disciplined in his home nation's traditional past time; sumo wrestling, Yokozuna came to conquer professional wrestling in the West, and his Japanese identity defined his ring style and his look.

Something completely different to what audiences were used to, the 40 stone Yoko wore sumo attire to fight his opponents in the squared circle. Coming out to a traditional Japanese flavoured theme accompanied by legendary Mr Fuji, Yoko is definitely one of the most dominant patriots we have ever seen.
