10 Most Popular Questions Fans Are Asking WWE Right Now

7. When Will Raw Revert To A 2-Hour Format?

Question: Pretty much every pro wrestling fan has heard the same complaints, Monday Night Raw is far too long each week and that needs to change. Since July, 2012, the show has lasted 3 hours in total. This was announced in May of that year, and the new format began with the program's 1,000th episode on July 23. Some fans have expressed concerns ever since that Raw isn't quite the dynamic broadcast that it once was. 2 hours was considered by many to be the perfect length, and that third hour makes the show drag on just a little too long. It's an ongoing debate, when will WWE revert back to the original format of 120 minutes? Answer: Any switch back to 2 hours doesn't appear to be impending. WWE glean extra advertising revenue for running a third hour, and company management seem to like the way the show runs right now. It's fair to say that it isn't helping the product, because 3 hours is a long time, but there's no concrete evidence that WWE want to change things back to the way they used to be.
