10 Most Popular Questions Fans Are Asking WWE Right Now

3. Will Steve Austin Ever Wrestle Again?

Question: Steve Austin's last professional wrestling match occurred at WrestleMania XIX on March 30, 2003. Working against The Rock, Austin put his long-standing rival over before stepping away from the ring. He did continue to work with WWE, mainly as an on screen General Manager, but never actually wrestled again. This isn't something which has sat particularly well with many older wrestling fans, leading to questions over whether or not 'Stone Cold' would appear in a match again. Over the years Austin has been tight-lipped on occasion, but that has changed more recently, leading to definitive answers over any prospective wrestling future. Answer: This is arguably the most easy question to answer on the entire list, mainly because of recent words from the man himself. Categorically, Steve Austin has stated that he has zero interest in returning to the ring, even for just one more bout. He admits he may have been tempted to work against someone like CM Punk, but is happy to reflect on his career rather than go back for another shot at the industry. Given that it has been almost 13 years since his last match, maybe it's time that the wrestling community started to believe him.
