Brock Lesnar's title match with Seth Rollins at Battleground was a one-sided rout that would have surely led to a new champion, were it not for the fact that The Undertaker interfered.
Making only his second appearance since Lesnar ended his streak at WrestleMania XXX, Undertaker attacked "The Beast," leaving him down and out after a Chokeslam and a pair of Tombstones.
The following evening on Raw, Undertaker addressed the WWE Universe for the first time in over a year. Undertaker explained that he could live with the loss of the streak, but not Lesnar and Paul Heyman's constant bragging about it. Now, he claimed, he was back and ready for revenge.
He wasn't the only one. Later in that same episode, Heyman came out to the ring to goad The Undertaker into coming back out. When he did, Lesnar attacked him, and the two behemoths had a brawl that only the entire locker room could stop.
Gone were tales of supernatural magic and mind games, replaced by two men who wanted to kill each other.
