6. The Motor City Machine Guns

The Motor City Machine Guns haven't aged at all during their two decades under the wrestling microscope. They're consistent, dynamic, and breathtaking, each match displaying a blink-and-you'll-miss-it approach - and yet, they never wrestled for WWE.

Not together, anyway; Alex Shelley did have that reunion with KUSHIDA in a pre-pandemic 2020 that, while proven popular, has gone forgotten from the drastic year.

Instead, their main body of work can be found spread across Ring Of Honor and IMPACT Wrestling, the latter of which recently saw them crowned three-time World Tag Team Champions. In the wider scope, they're but a footnote in the lore of All Elite Wrestling.

Brought in by the Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh contingent for the 2022 All Out pay-per-view, the Guns were merely bodies for Wardlow and FTR to batter, Alex Shelley at one stage eating a killer Big Rig. Flurries of their patented fascinating offence were outshone by that of FTR, planting the seeds for a potential showdown between the current IMPACT and IWGP Tag Team Champions. Other than this, however, there was no logical reason as to why Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh needed to be replaced by such a renowned and respected tandem for an otherwise mundane match.
