7. X-Factor
Sometime at the turn of the millennium, X-Pac went from being one of the most over guys on the entire WWF roster to being one of most loathed by fans across the globe. No matter where the promotion put on shows, the man was met with a scathing barrage of negativity, even when he was supposed to be babyface. It was obvious that what had been cool several years earlier in D-Generation X was now considered old hat by fans, and X-Pac hadn't exactly changed with the times. Looking to offset this apathy from audiences and turn it into genuine heat, the creative team created an entirely new faction for Pac, one he'd be the leader of. Sadly, this band of misfits didn't resonate with the audience. Joined by Justin Credible and the awkward Albert, X-Pac's new 'X-Factor' stable won as many cool points as a Cliff Richard greatest hits compilation might at a teenage girl's birthday party. The entire thing only lasted a few short months, before the whole Invasion angle kicked off in the Summer of 2001. Few were sad to see the back of it.
