4. Nation Of Domination (USWA)
The Nation Of Domination is one of the most-fondly remembered factions from the cusp of the Attitude Era in the then-WWF. The group allowed none other than The Rock to spread his wings, slowly but surely becoming one of the most enjoyable performers to watch that the company had under contract, and finally living up to his potential. It's not the Nation in the WWF that fans should be scratching their heads at, but more so the offshoot of the stable in the United States Wrestling Association. Headed up by PG-13, a tag-team featuring Wolfie D and J.C Ice - who would rap for the full-time WWF Nation on their way to the ring - the stable had a very strange roster in the USWA. Considering that The Nation Of Domination was loosely portrayed as being similar to the Nation Of Islam religious movement, perhaps with more of a militant vibe, it's baffling to think that the entire idea actually started in the USWA. Even more confusing is the fact that the likes of Tracy Smothers, Brakkus and even the guy who would go on to play Phantasio were part of the group!
