10 Most Ridiculous WWE Title Changes Of The 2000s

7. Kane Beats Chavo In Eleven Seconds At WrestleMania XXIV

Poor Chavo Guerrero. First he loses the Cruiserweight Championship to Jacqueline. Then he loses it to his embarrassing dad, Chavo Sr. Then Hornswoggle. By the time 2008 rolled around, Chavo must have been wishing for a return of his glory days of 2002-4. Luckily for Chavo, salvation was around the corner. He entered into a surprisingly gripping feud with ECW Champion CM Punk in January 2008. Chavo won the title and had some great return matches with Punk. It was a welcome return to prominence for the underrated veteran. Chavo was on a roll and must have thought a thoroughly deserved WrestleMania match was on the cards. It was, although not the match Chavo would have wanted: he was completely squashed by a Kane chokeslam and pinned within eleven seconds. It was an awful way to end what had been a decent little run as ECW Champion. Chavo had been delivering the goods week in and week out and didn't deserve to be buried like that. Kane wasn't much cop as ECW Champion, either, and spent most of his time wrestling the likes of Mark Henry and The Big Show.
