10 Most SCATHING Times Wrestlers Buried WWE
5. Mick Foley Creates Rage Room In Response To WWE Booking
Say what you will about the most ardent "AEWSexuals," but All_Elite_Brian88 never smashed a personal belonging when WWE executed a trademark booking disaster.
Mark Foley did.
In fairness, a lot of people were pissed for the same reason. In 2014, back when WWE "boasted" a stronger audience who loudly opposed WWE because they still cared about what it could be, Daniel Bryan was not entered in the 2014 Royal Rumble match. They knew you'd want him to win. His omission was designed to spare Batista's blushes, which didn't work. The reaction was as toxic as it would have been, were Bryan eliminated from the match.
Not only was Bryan the people's choice, but he he emerged as the people's choice in an era in which Stephanie McMahon called everybody a useless tw*t for three hours every week. The TV was beyond oppressive, and the pixel-to-pixel heat didn't even have a purpose. Bryan wasn't the guy. They told you he wasn't the guy. And then they made him not the guy.
Nobody wanted to see Foley act like this - he was a selfless genius of a legend - but he did make a bit of a t*t of himself by going through with his promise to smash a telly in protest.
Mick being Mick, he did pick the cheapest one he could - and it wasn't even his TV!
It was his daughter's TV!
