4. Hulk Hogan - WrestleMania VIII

At WrestleMania VIII, WWE Champion Ric Flair defended the title against Randy Savage, who was in the midst of a comeback that made him one of the company's top babyfaces all over again. The two men had a bout that was, up until that point, the best WWE Championship match in WrestleMania history.

That match didn't get to go on last, though - headlining the show was a terrible contest pitting racist stain Hulk Hogan against Sid Justice. Why did that get primacy? Well, apart from the fact that Hogan wasn't going to let anyone go on after him, the bout was being spun as a retirement match of sorts for the aging star - in reality, though, it was never meant to be his last match. He was just laying low for a while amidst the heat from WWE's steroid investigation.

The bout stunk up the stadium, and it didn't even have an ending - there was a DQ and The Ultimate Warrior came out, which was supposed to send the fans home happy. Warrior would also leave the company shortly thereafter.
