7. Daniel Bryan Vs Sheamus - WWE WrestleMania XXVIII

On paper, a match between Daniel Bryan and Sheamus would be great at any point in their careers, but WWE did not seem to care about this. The promotion will tell you that Sheamus' victory over Bryan in 18 seconds at WrestleMania XXVIII kickstarted the 'Yes Movement', but this simply is not true. It was a poor decision that tried to undermine the 'American Dragon' as a future superstar in the company and beyond.

Bryan only overcame this booking because he is one of the best wrestlers of all time and was able to work his way to the top despite WWE's insistence on keeping him as a 'B+ Player'. Not only was he squashed in such a pathetic way, but it was also the end of his first World Title reign, which was underwhelming in itself as he only got to face giants such as Big Show and Mark Henry.

Luckily, Bryan was able to win multiple WWE Championships and go on to have a legendary career despite being frequently booked poorly. The WrestleMania squash would only be a speedbump for him, but it was still a shockingly poor decision from the company.
