4. Goldberg Vs. Brock Lesnar - Survivor Series 2016
At WrestleMania XX, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg clashed in what would be each man's last WWE match for many years. Though Lesnar ultimately returned in 2012 and would go back to dominating competition, most fans assumed that Goldberg was done with wrestling forever.
In 2016, though, the release of the WWE 2K17 video game featured both men prominently and sparked interest in a rematch. Sure enough, Goldberg returned to WWE in the fall, marking his first work with the company in over 12 years. Soon, a bout between the two dominant forces was inked for the Survivor Series.
For spectators, it looked like Lesnar would finally get his win back. "The Beast" hadn't suffered a true loss in over three years and was the most protected star on the roster, while Goldberg had already been treating the bout like it was his swan song. When the bell rang, though, Goldberg dominated Lesnar, hitting two Spears and a Jackhammer to pin him in 1:26.
Needless to say, it was stunning to see Goldberg manhandle Lesnar as easily as he did Lodi. While a third bout between the two men is likely to occur at WrestleMania, making Goldberg's victory more sensible, nobody thought the match would go down the way it did.
