This might sound ridiculous, but Hornswoggle felt like one of the most un-sackable people in all of WWE before he got cut in 2016. 

As the only little person on WWE's permanent roster, he fulfilled a very specific niche. This usually amounted to him being treated like a child or presented as some sort of magical creature, but at least he was guaranteed a payday. Due to this slightly concerning fascination, Swoggle was part of some massive storylines in his time. From Mr. McMahon's illegitimate son to the dying days of DX, he was always there, whether he fit the narrative or not. 

Prior to his release, he had last been seen as a mascot for the tag team Slater-Gator (remember them?). This looked like the way he was going to go for the remainder of his career; being slotted into random acts until he found one that fit. 'Swoggle has come back a few times since his release, notably at the Greatest Royal Rumble. He was only 30 years old when he was let go, which is completely mad when you think about it.
