10 Most Shocking WWE TitanTron Moments

7. Three Faces Of Foley

On an historic September 1997 edition of Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden, WWE used the relatively new giant screen to display one of their greatest ever introductory vignettes.

With Triple H set to battle Dude Love in a Street Fight after months of scuffles between the pair, Dude appeared on the TitanTron to suggest that such a hardcore conflict might not be up his street.

Handing over to Mankind, Dude conducted a sitdown interview with his deranged alter-ego, as the incredulous Triple H gradually grew more concerned in the ring.

Having waged war with Hunter too, Mankind said he thought there may be somebody even better equipped to take the match, unveiling Cactus Jack to a thunderous response from the New York loyalists.

All three faces of Foley appeared together on the screen, as a looming Jack wielded a trash can and readied himself for war. Triple H was apoplectic at the reveal, cornering defenceless referee Mike Chioda in panic at the sudden line-up change, but his protests fell on deaf ears.

That the match itself delivered was a bonus, but the entire segment was a WWE production triumph.

Mankind and Dude's interplay showed off the trademark Foley humour, then Jack's deadly insertion alongside Triple H's selling of the news told the entire tale of the match about to follow.
