10 Most Succesful TNA Wrestlers In WWE
7. Monty Brown
One of the best originals ever produced in the Impact Zone had a largely forgettable in WWE. But due to so few TNA to WWE wrestlers having any sort of impact there, he's going to make the list.
Brown looked certain to be a top babyface in TNA, but they got shy on going all-in and giving a world title run. It hurt his credibility, and eventually he became positioned as more of a background player than a singles star. When his contract was up, he left the company to try his luck in WWE.
It should have worked out well for both sides. Brown had an incredibly unique charisma, he was entertaining on the mic and he had a real-life NFL background that should have given him an extra boost in Vince McMahon’s eyes.
Instead of being Monty Brown, though, he came in as the quite terribly named Marquis Cor Van, before quickly changing the spelling to Marcus Cor Von. Yeah, still pretty bad. Cor Von debuted on ECW, and received a decent push on the brand, even finding himself in a match at WrestleMania 23. It seemed like changing companies was a good move for him.
And had Cor Von stuck around longer, he possibly could have found himself in the main event scene one day on Raw or SmackDown. However, he left WWE due to some family issues and never again returned to a national promotion.
It was a decent TNA to WWE run that could have been great with enough time.
