10 Most Succesful TNA Wrestlers In WWE
4. R-Truth
While Truth did have WWE experience before TNA, we'll let him on the list as he spent years longer in TNA than he did in his initial WWE run.
R-Truth originally started out as K-Kwik in the WWF. You remember K-Kwik, right? No? Oh. That's fine. Really, it is. Well, it seemed Kwik was mainly hired so Road Dogg could have a new partner after Billy Gunn, because management didn't really trust Dogg to go it alone.
Kwik and Dogg were kind of okay together, which is exactly what one would have guessed they would be, but they were destined to never be anywhere near as popular as The New Age Outlaws. After some time in the hardcore division, Kwik wasn't able to make a go of it alone either, he was released from his deal, and then soon showed up in TNA.
There, he became a whole new man. As Ron “The Truth” Killings, he was one of the most exciting parts of the new promotion. He was cutting some of the best and edgiest promos in the business, and made WWE look like fools for letting him get away. His run as a mid-card babyface in 3LK was a bit of a waste, but eventually he impressed someone enough that he got to make his WWE return.
It was a random hiring, and it was unfortunately not that interesting. Truth's “What’s Up?” theme song was carried over from TNA grew and it grew incredibly tiring, but it never, ever stopped. He did eventually receive a brief opportunity in the main event in a program with John Cean. he did a pretty solid job in the role, but was still pushed back down to the mid-card once again, where his character basically transformed into an idiot.
Still, he's remained employed for over eight years, and appears to be one of Vince's all time favorite comedy characters.
