As the first-ever NXT Champion in history, Seth Rollins had a fair old amount of expectation on his shoulders once he finally graduated to the main roster. And by and large, you’d have to say he has delivered on that.

After an awesome 18-month run with The Shield, Rollins caught a lot of people off-guard when he became the breakout star of the group, disbanding the faction and winning the Money in the Bank briefcase shortly after.

A 273-day run with the briefcase then lasted until WrestleMania 31, when Rollins cashed in for one of the all-time great ‘Mania moments, ushering in a 220-day reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Unfortunately, a knee injury cut that title run short, and though he did win the belt back—albeit very briefly—his big babyface push upon returning from injury hasn’t been handled as well as many might’ve hoped.

Nonetheless, before being sidelined he’d been an absolute workhorse, making good on his potential in terms of both his work in the ring and on the mic, whilst also racking up heaps of championship pedigree to back it up. No pun intended.
