10 Most Successful WWE To AEW Transitions

8. Serena Deeb

Mr. Brodie Lee
AEW

Away from her brief stint as a member of CM Punk's shaved-head society, Serena Deeb's WWE career mostly consisted of the star helping guide the next generation of talented ladies behind-the scenes.

And while Deeb definitely enjoyed passing her knowledge on to the future of wrestling, the technical wizard still couldn't escape the feeling of having unfinished business in-between the ropes.

A blessing in disguise in the form of a sudden release from WWE in April 2020 soon paved the way for Deeb to finally dust off her wrestling boots for the first time since surprisingly popping up in the inaugural Mae Young Classic in 2017.

For those who hadn't seen that much of the cold, calculating Professor since her aforementioned SES days, Deeb's impressive first few displays on AEW programming from September onwards understandably caught them a little off-guard. But they soon became the merciless norm as the body-twisting one-time NWA Women's Champion went about brilliantly punishing everyone from Thunder Rosa to Hikaru Shida in the years that followed.

And with Deeb also lending her priceless coaching skills to those up-and-coming All Elite stars of tomorrow, it's safe to say that the former Performance Center coach's stock has only increased since parting ways with WWE.
