At 6'8", 300lbs, Bruiser Brody was a naturally imposing figure. Of course, his unkempt long hair and bushy beard also helped significantly contribute to his unsettling appearance.

However, with Brody, it was his unpredictable nature and hard nose style that made him a truly scary individual. He was known to come to the ring swinging a chain, and often left it up to the audience members to get out of the way. He was frequently involved in matches that left him bloody and was very hostile with audience members.

When Brody and his longtime rival Abdullah the Butcher would fight outside the ring, fans would be sure to keep a safe distance so as to avoid being on the receiving end of a shot from either man — accidental or otherwise.

Bruiser Brody made everyone around him fear for their wellbeing when he performed, and it was never really clear how much of his behavior was intended to be part of the show.
