10 Most Uncanny Predictions Ever Made About Wrestling

1. Redditors Get Something Right

Sasha Banks
WWE

A cursory glance at one of several 2022 predictions threads actually yields something in the way of clairvoyance.

User 'courageousdonut' didn't actually behave like the amusing British insult they may or may not have named themselves after; they predicted that William Regal would sign with AEW and assist their young talent, that Liv Morgan would win a Women's championship in WWE, and that Jay White and Kazuchika Okada would should up in AEW. Then again, if you were to predict now in December 2022 that Karl Gotch would become All Elite, Tony Khan would somehow find a way.

Larkhainan predicted that Keith Lee and Athena would sign with AEW and, sticking their neck out, claimed that we wouldn't see Karrion Kross in an AEW ring. Guessing that Tony Khan would show restraint was certainly bold, perhaps even uncanny. It's rather undone by the fact that Khan actually wanted Kross to do a one-off job to Wardlow.

CountryCaravan was downright eerie, predicting, a year ago, that John Laurinaitis and his generally being hopeless would compel "at least one horsewoman" to leave. Sasha Banks literally threw the title on his desk on the way out. They also predicted that bad publicity would lower WWE's brand value.

Mr. Daark went one further, correctly predicting, against all reason, that there'd be a "big WWE management shake-up" that could involve Vince "possibly stepping down".
