10 Most Uncharismatic WWE World Champions Of The Last 20 Years

7. Batista

It's baffling how someone as dull as Batista, who was venomously booed soon after his 2014 return, managed to become one of the most popular Superstars during the Ruthless Aggression Era. However, it can be explained.

Once upon a time, Batista resembled change. The RA Era was little more than a cycle of the same old same old. Of course Batista was going to do well when WWE pushed a fresh face to break the monotony of the main event scene.

Unfortunately for Batista, WWE fans have evolved since the mid-2000s and just being a breath of fresh isn't enough to win the hearts of passionate fans fed up with being underwhelmed. The truth is that Batista isn't and never was all that entertaining, he was just in the right place at the right time.

WWE made it easy for fans to recognise just how boring Batista is when it unintentionally pitted him against Daniel Bryan, a man who utterly oozed charisma despite having a seemingly nondescript gimmick.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
