10 Most Uncharismatic WWE World Champions Of The Last 20 Years

3. Goldberg

The word 'illusion' has been mentioned a few times in this list, but there is no man that has benefited more from the illusion of being charismatic than Bill Goldberg. In many ways, Goldberg is the most overrated beloved wrestling hero of all-time.

Goldberg's strength was that he couldn't wrestle. Because he looked like an aggressive man, WCW capitalised on his one upside by having him win matches in a matter of minutes, if not seconds, giving fans a simple reason to fall in love with the man over the course of his famed winning streak.

With the facade of angry faces, catchphrases and inaudible yelling stripped away, Goldberg lacked anything that even remotely resembled charisma. Without a corporate machine fueling his success, Goldberg quickly lost his legions of followers in WCW's later years partially due to his lack of personality.

Try to watch any of his later WCW and even early WWE promos without cringing to see just how bland the man truly was.

Sure, a lot of the issues pointed out are in relation to Goldberg's WCW days, but he hadn't improved by the time he began his 2003 World Heavyweight Championship reign, either.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
