10. The Eliminators Vs. The Dudley Boyz (Barely Legal 1997)
It's fitting that this list starts off with the first ECW pay-per-view match ever. There's no way this one can be considered the best tag-team match the company ever put on, but there's just something magical about it. There was a clear buzz in the air, and Joey Styles on commentary can't help but show his excitement when Sign Guy Dudley gets creamed with the Total Elimination finisher. In hindsight, the match is little more than a glorified squash bout, and it's interesting to see The Dudley Boyz in that position. Nonetheless, it makes both Perry Saturn and John Kronus look like absolute monsters. They worked extremely well together as The Eliminators, and ECW crowds lapped up the team as a firm favourite during their time together. This one is relatively short, only lasting around 6 minutes or so. Don't let the brief length fool you, everything comes together to start Barely Legal with a bang. Some have claimed the event hasn't aged well, but the coolness of The Eliminators destroying The Dudleyz is undeniable.
