10 Most Underrated Undertaker WWE Rivalries

7. Rey Mysterio

This one is all about the matches. Rey versus The Undertaker wasn't going to be a blood feud, obviously, since both men were total babyfaces. Instead, their 2010 feud was built on the simple premise of Rey want to win 'Taker's World Heavyweight Championship. What made their matches so intriguing was not only the huge size difference, but also the clash of styles. Here you had the near 7 foot tall strike and submission specialist going up agains the 5ft6in high-flying luchadore. It might not have worked, but Rey and 'Taker are both so good that they made it great. Their match at Royal Rumble was something of a minor classic, with Rey not quite doing enough to pick up the W. Both men moved on to different feuds afterwards but they would meet up again on the May 28th 2010 episode of Smackdown, with a spot in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Fatal 4 Way on the line. Undertaker one another engrossing encounter but suffered a broken orbital bone in the process, necessitating a few months on the sidelines. It's a shame that the two men never reignited their rivalry upon Undertaker's return, but both men had other concerns at the time. Their 2010 feud, while perhaps not the most captivating from a storyline perspective, stands out thanks to the consistently high quality of their matches.
