10 Most Underrated WWE Ladder Matches Ever

10. Eddie Guerrero & Tajiri Vs Team Angle (Judgement Day 2003)

Los Guerreros and Team Angle had a very good series of matches in the Spring of 2003, including a choice effort at Backlash. The two talented teams were gearing up for a big ladder match at Judgement Day when disaster struck and Chavo injured his biceps, landing him on the sidelines for months. WWE needed a fix and, instead of stripping the Guerreros of the Titles, decided to give Eddie a new partner. Tajiri got the gig and Eddie and Tajiri formed a very entertaining makeshift unit. One of the highlights of their brief run as a team was this match against Team Angle at Judgement Day, their first match together as a team. As if there wasn't enough pressure on the duo, this was also Team Angle's first match involving ladders. According to Eddie's autobiography Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story, he told the inexperienced Team Angle that the only way to approach a ladder match is to go balls out, take the bumps and bruises and have no fear. Eddie led by example and made sure that they had a great, high octane match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1akA-aQefa4 The match also had a very inventive finish: as Shelton Benjamin was trying to stop Eddie from climbing the ladder, Tajiri hit him with the deadly green mist through one of the rungs. There's no lying, cheating or stealing in a ladder match but Tajiri tried, bell him.
