10 Most Underused Wrestlers In WWE Right Now
8. Shining Stars
Another potentially dubious entry, but again—hear me out on
this one.
Say what you want about the Shining Stars gimmick (and I’m certainly not endorsing any positive feedback) but beneath the act, Primo and Epico are two very talented individuals. They proved that in their re-debut a few months back in May, pulling out some actual exciting offense and some impressive suplex combinations.
But since then, they’ve hardly been given a look in. Vince McMahon has reportedly gone off the idea of what are glorified Puerto Rican travel agents, and they’ve reverted to total obscurity—they’re scarcely even featuring on Superstars and Main Event, for Pete’s sake.
With a litany of lower card tag teams currently kicking around the company—including the Ascension, the Vaudevillains, and the Golden Truth—they’d be better off moving on from this Shining Stars spiel and actually being afforded the chance to show us what they’re capable of.
Then again, after a second successive failed gimmick
following their earlier Los Matadores nonsense, it may be too late to take this
guys seriously.
