5. Mabel

Not to speak ill of the dead but Mabel absolutely sucked in the ring. Saying he was agile for his weight would be like saying a tractor trailer hugs the curves of a highway.

Despite being a large tub of mass in the ring and garnering zero fan reaction for his heel turn, Mabel was pushed to a victory in the King of the Ring tournament in 1995, defeating perennial midcarder Savio Vega in the final.

The fans were so disgusted by a former tag wrestler winning the tournament that they pelted Mabel with garbage during his coronation as King. Vince McMahon took this to mean Mabel had heel heat which was completely false.

King Mabel was shoved into a match with Kevin Nash at the second-biggest show of the year, SummerSlam 1995. Since the thought of Mabel as heavyweight champion of the world is enough to give wrestling fans nightmares for years, Nash defeated his purple adversary and banished him to the midcard.
