There are some memorable title reigns that produce legendary matches and feuds, thus helping elevate both the performer and the title itself. Conversely, there are also championship runs that are so awful, despite their best efforts, fans simply cannot forget them. However, it's the area in-between these two extremes where most forgotten championship runs are found.

Layla's post-LayCool, 140-day reign as WWE Divas Champion is an excellent example of a non-descript run that really didn't help or hurt anyone.

In truth, it's a bit unfair to single out Layla. After all, most of the Divas Champions during this time period (2010-14), like Eve Torres and Kaitlyn for example, were mostly just place holders who kept the division afloat.

Sure, the former Diva Search winner eventually became a serviceable in-ring performer and was fairly charismatic. Still, like most of her contemporaries, the ex-champ's run atop the division was seriously lacking in the highlight department and didn't have enough lowlights to stand out either.
