When you think of the Attitude Era, needless to say, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker and others immediately come to mind. But let's not forget Sable was also among the hottest stars in WWE at that time, both figuratively and literally.

It's safe to say officials never expected her popularity to take off the way it did during her pairing with Marc Mero. In fact, he was the one who was primed for a push as a singles star, but in his absence due to injury, she emerged as a household name and stole the spotlight.

Her obvious sex appeal and undeniable connection with the crowd made her a major deal almost overnight. She was never the strongest in-ring worker, but she did have a reign as Women's Champion to her credit.

She quit and filed a lawsuit against the company in 1999, only to return as part of the SmackDown brand four years later in 2003. Stranger things have happened, right?

Luckily for her, she came in right when SmackDown was at its hottest, but almost every angle she was involved in was about her posing for Playboy or fighting for Vince McMahon's love. Without a Women's Championship on the show, there wasn't much for her to do, so she grew stale fairly quickly and was gone by August 2004 to focus more on her family life.

Incredibly, Sable told media outlets after her release that she only found out about it by reading it on WWE.com.

If nothing else, her relationship with Brock Lesnar - which has seen them get married and have two children - was the only good thing to come out of her second stint in WWE.
