10 Most Well Rounded Fighters In UFC 2020
2. Amanda Nunes
G.O.A.T.?
Amanda Nunes can quite literally do it all and the terrifying reality is, she can often choose exactly how she wants to finish her bouts. Let that sink in. Most fighters would kill to earn just one championship victory. Nunes is so good, she often makes things hard for herself just to make things interesting.
Insane.
When faced with a dynamic striker (Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg) she's made short work of them on their feet. When up against grappling specialists (Miesha Tate) she's opted to tap out her prey.
This well-rounded game is explained by the fact that Nunes holds a black belt in Kyokushin Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, whilst she's also been an avid boxer since the age of 16.
Her explosive power, dominant ground control and incredible stamina have made any realistic chances of her being usurped as the true 'Lioness' of the UFC seem slim to say the least.
At this stage, the only likely cause for concern for the two-weight champ may be complacency. With no real threat on the horizon, she may drop her levels to that of the rest of the division and be found out by an unexpected threat.
But, as of this moment, Nunes sits as one of the most gifted all round performers in UFC history.
