10 Most Well Rounded Fighters In UFC 2020
1. Jon Jones
Like the mouldiest blue cheese and finest of wines, Jon Jones has only seemed to get better with age and at 31, he is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest all round fighter on the active UFC roster. Dana White would go one further and say he's the greatest ever. He might be right.
Jones has finished fights in so many different ways that it has now become near impossible to land on exactly what his preferred method of stoppage actually is.
In his younger days he could blast away opponents with spectacular elbows, body-shattering slams, face crushing knees and explosive punches. Submissions were also a go to for Jones with chokes and even the odd americana claiming victims over the years.
Yet, as he's grown wiser, Jones has developed a confidence and understanding in his game which now allows him to take his time. He now downloads his opponent's game-plan in the early rounds and proceeds to pick holes in it as the fight continues.
This has led to seven decision victories in his last nine fights, proving that he has added a degree of patience to his already impressive make-up.
Many have tried - some have even got close over the last few years - but there still doesn't appear to be a clear outline as to how to overcome one of the most talented all round performers in MMA history.
