7. Michael Elgin

Impact

Impact Wrestling has generally been on the up recently. Despite not being reflected in the ratings, the product has been steadily improving and even offers certain things not found elsewhere (more on that later). Part of the reason for the improvement has been the main event scene and Michael Elgin, with his big hulking physique and bone rattling blows, has certainly played his part in it.

Weighing in at 245 pounds and having the athleticism to boot, Elgin would be an easy fit for WWE, ticking all the boxes they would normally want their talent to tick. In particular, his Impact World Championship feud with Brian Cage was a brutish contest of power versus power that made the audience gasp every time one of those brick-like hands landed on a jaw or chest.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
