10 Moves WWE Superstars Don't Do Anymore

7. Alley-Oop/Final Cut (Big Show)

At first, it was tempting to stick Big Show's old dropkicking days in WCW here and move on. That's too obvious though. Show became too large and cumbersome to deliver the move effectively in WWE, and (despite being in great shape now) he has no need of it today. The same goes for old experiments like the Final Cut and Alley-Oop.

There will be younger fans who haven't heard of either move. No surprise there. Show hasn't used the first since around 2015, and it was an anomaly even then. As for the Alley-Oop, that was last seen as a bonafide finisher around 2001-02. It looked brilliant, but Show has moved on to his WMD punch, and, in fairness, that strike suits the giant better than his flapjack-style Powerbomb ever did.

The Final Cut lacked a bit of sparkle compared to the Alley Oop too.

Show was right to move on from both, streamline his in-ring style and concentrate more on God-given size and strength than aiming for any 'wow' factor.
