10 Moves WWE Superstars Don't Do Anymore
4. Running DDT (The Undertaker)
This was once a staple of The Undertaker's entire act.
During the 'zombie' days of the character, 'Taker could be seen reversing an Irish Whip then cracking opponents with a running DDT during almost every match. Then, he'd lay motionless for a few seconds before the portly Paul Bearer lifted that urn above his head and breathed new life into The Undertaker's body.
Cue the epic sit-up spot, and cue bedlam from the fans as they realised 'The Deadman' was on the comeback trail. It was a great spot, and it's one 'Taker continued using (sans sit-up, usually) when he morphed into a bad-ass biker. Then, without warning, the running DDT favourite was consigned to history.
In the legend's most recent matches, such as against John Cena at WrestleMania 34, the move didn't make an appearance. He did use the flying clothesline spot, but not the DDT. Kane, who adopted the same move, never uses it himself, so it looks like the running DDT is gone forever.
