10 Movies Starring Wrestlers In 2016

8. 6:42

6:42 is about the amount of time it would take Kane to finish off Dolph Ziggler during a match on Smackdown. 6:42 is also an upcoming WWE Studios film starring Kane and, yes, Dolph Ziggler. The film will mark 'The Show Offs' motion picture debut. Ziggles plays Ray Fitzpatrick, a tough as nails carcotics cop (huh?) working a beat in LA. A drug bust goes wrong, he's forced to shoot his own partner, he's suspended, he comes back and so on and so forth. He's tormented, OK? Have some damn respect. And then Kane turns up (as Lt. Kronin) and the two work together to catch some baddies. Just like in real life. Once again, WWE aren't relying on the Authority's favourite henchman and a perennial midcarder to run the show and have hired some actual, proper actors with experience and stuff. Chief among them is the talented Katherine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps, American Mary etc.) who teamed up with WWE (and Kane) recently for See No Evil 2. This one could really go either way, but I'm most curious to see if Dolph can pull of playing a 'tough as nails' cop. I know Kane can play a Lieutenant - we've all seen him in slacks an awful lot over the past year - but questions remain over Ziggler's hard-man credentials. 6:42 is being directed by John Stockwell, he of Into the Blue, Bue Crush and Kickboxer: Vengeance fame.
